Welcome to Sooke's first "Discover a Career in the Skilled Trades" Info Night! Our first meeting will focus on youth and the rewarding careers in the skilled trades.

Are you a teenager or a young adult and get asked "what do you want to do when you graduate?" or "what do you want to be when you grow up?". You've considered getting into the skilled trades but you're unsure of the career options? Or you are a parent and would like to help your youth navigate through this process, then this event is for you!

We will be discussing:

• Overview of skilled trades career options

• Overview of the current job availability

• What employers are seeking when hiring youth

"Discover a Career in the Skilled Trades" Info Night series is hosted by Maki Morriss, owner of Riverstone Recruiting. Maki has a diverse background in skilled trades recruiting and actively participates in initiatives to promote skilled trades and support youth entering the workforce.
